So many firsts.....

Having a baby truly has been an amazing experience.  I have thoroughly enjoyed spending so much time with LBH and watching him change and grown over the last 13 months.

Happy 1st Birthday, Little Big Head!!!!

I spend so much time on the computer and the internet, yet I forget to update this blog.  Almost 2 months ago, our bouncing baby boy turned 1!  

For LBH's birthday, it was just the three of us home all day.  I got the great idea that LBH should get his 1st hair cut.  You can see from the video how he felt about it.....

After his haircut, we enjoyed a delicious Sushi dinner!  Well, N and I enjoyed Sushi and LBH devoured the fried rice and some strawberries.

To celebrate with Family and Friends, we had a Superhero-themed pool part at our "family" farm.  I made a selection of sweet treats, the kids ran around the farm, presents were opened, swimming took place, MaMaw played some songs, and our family got a tour of the farm on a Side-by-Side Rhino.

All in all, it was a fabulous way to spend our little guy's 1st birthday!!  The icing on the cake was having my Grandmother here from England!!!!

LBH - Wrapping up the Weekly Pictures

We are getting close to the 1st Birthday Celebration for our Little Big Head, which also means our weekly photo sessions will probably end.  Since I keep forgetting  LBH hasn't been changing a lot physically throughout the week and he is so mobile, I stopped taking weekly pictures and have been taking bi-weekly shots.  Here are the most recent weekly shots:

LBH - 10 months old

WOW, where has the time gone!?!  LBH is 10 months old and crawling everywhere.  He has a very unique style when he is on the tile or hardwood floors - he crawls with his right knee on the ground but his left knee up and his left foot propels him along the floor.  On the carpet, LBH crawls in the traditional style.  He pulls up wherever the opportunity presents.  This week, LBH has started to rearrange his legs and will shortly stand up without furniture support.  He refuses to eat pureed food and wants what is on our plates.

LBH 40 Weeks - Womb and Out

Somewhere (probably Pinterest) I saw a picture of a baby comparing the ultrasound picture to a post-birth picture.  Since I didn't discover this until after LBH was 20 weeks old, I decided to do it with the 40 week ultrasound and LBH sleeping at age 40 weeks.

LBH - Weeks 36-40

Still haven't grasped updating this blog more often.  LBH is growing and changing so much each day.  He is crawling, pulls himself up on the coffee table, and eats lots of different finger foods.  Here are his weekly shots.....

LBH Weeks 28-35

WOW!!!!  Where did the last 2 months go!?!  I was doing so good updating this blog with LBH's growth and then winter sucked it right out of me!!!
